Examples of previous work*

Electric Service Line Project

Created an FME workbench to automatically generate service lines in GIS for ~350,000 customer meters to establish connectivity within the Esri Utility Network. Utilized ArcGIS Server logs to diagnose issues with writing results to previously published services.

Pipeline Features Lists (PFLs)

Utilized a series of FME workbenches to migrate attributes of natural gas pipeline assets from Excel spreadsheets to the GIS SDE database. Maintained, troubleshooted, modified, and updated workbenches as needed.

Station Feature Lists (SFLs)

Created an FME workbench to automate the process of preparing attribute data about natural gas transmission station assets for loading into GIS.

Gas Transmission Station Project

Led a team of GIS editors that created gas transmission station assets in GIS from as-built drawings. Developed processes, trained associates, assigned work, and performed quality assurance.

Analyze Manhole Elevations

Created an FME workbench to utilize Lidar data to determine and populate the elevations of manhole covers throughout a utility’s district.

Quality Control

Created numerous FME workbenches to check various data sources for defects in preparation of migration to new data models.

Utility Network (UN) Migration Project

Updated numerous FME workbenches previously used in a gas migration project to migrate water utility feature classes. Staged the UN and enabled versioning. Published services for use in apps.

Records Research and GIS Editing

Extensive history of records research to determine both current and historical configurations and attribute information for natural gas transmission pipelines and stations, as well as editing in enterprise geodatabases to maintain accurate GIS data.

Linear Referencing

Comprehensive knowledge of utilizing linear referencing systems (LRS) to maintain accurate stationing information for natural gas transmission pipelines.

Cartography

Created maps and infographics of natural gas transmission pipelines and systems. Updated existing maps to establish a consistent look and feel (symbology, labeling, placement of elements, etc.) throughout the company.

Schema Mapping

Compared data models and conducted schema mapping in preparation for migration from the ArcGIS Pipeline Data Model (APDM) to the Esri Utility Network.
